The week passed too fast!

Hello!! So this week has been pretty rough. Constantly being annoyed early in the morning by different people. There are a few things I cannot stand and in fact I really dislike. 1. Smokers who think that it is very cool to smoke and laugh at others who dont. Erm excuse me. You may think its cool now but when you are diagnosed with heart failure or lung cancer, don’t come and regret, I’ll be the last to laugh. 2. People who are noisy in the day. Yes, its irritating. I hope you know that. No I’m very sorry that being noisy doesn’t make people like you, it just makes others think how irritating you are and that you are just trying to gain attention. 3. Racism. I in fact really dislike HATE racism. Doesn’t being born in SG make you learn to live in harmony with people of ALL RACES AND RELIGION? excuse me, you say the pledge everyday ‘regardless of race language or religion’. Even if you don’t say it out loud, as a singaporean it is alrdy ingrained into our brains. Hasn’t learning social studies and history in lower sec taught you about racial discrimination and the consequences of it? so this was why I raged in clas early in the morning. I dislike having people who annoy me. Worst. In the morning. I walked into class seeing two guys talking bout the space they do not have. And wow you had to point infront and call your friend who wasn’t there a ‘fucking malay’ DO YOU KNOW HOW HURTFUL IT WILL BE IF HE HEARD IT? I think you don’t. Because if you did, you wouldn’t say it in the first place. Yea okay sure he will complain that he doesn’t have space but do YOU have the rights to call him that? May I know who gave you the rights to do that? The boy has a name too right? Okay enough of that! Besides bad stuffs, many great things happened too(: results friends family.♡ its kinda sad that secretgarden ended yesterday though.. but this means more study time hahahaha Gonna go for a meal with 병연이 tmr(: hehehe Okay some camwhore shots from Monday!

Heh. ANNYONG!

Is this Racism?

Im not sure if telling someone that ‘ohh i dont eat food from this race’, is racist or not. I mean not the muslims cause they can only consume halal food, but how bout other races?
Im saying this cause i heard a friend saying that she doesnt take chinese people food. I kinda felt insulted as a chinese, but then again, probably she doesnt like the taste of them, but it was a peanut product, so a assume it is not that she doesnt take ‘chinese people’ food but its just that she doesnt eat peanuts? Idk, i dont think this is racist, but i felt insulted alittle, in my opinion.. I studied in a SAP school in primary school where the students there at 99% chinese except a tiny percentage of mixed blood students, everyone took chinese and speak chinese. I clicked really well with those who werent chinese too, so i dont see whats the problem of having friends who arent the same race as you.
In secondary school, it was my first time in a school with some much more people of different races and some even come from overseas and are way older than us. I feel okay with that, in fact, one of my very first few friends in secondary school were mostly indians! I really like their way then thinking and everything, uptill now, we are definitely still close friends. Talking bout food, in lower sec, these friends would bring food their parents prepared for them, like tradition indian food i guess? And they brough it to school for recess. I remember exchanging what i bought with what they had in their lunch boxes and ALL of them tasted really good! I swear esp this thing that looks like prata but tastes nothing like it. My friends, also tried chinese food, and there wasnt a problem, infact if i rmb correctly, one of them even said she loved chinese food. So i dont really undestand how one can openly say i dont like chinese people food. I mean, she may not be trying to be racist or anything but just airing her views but i feel that there was no need to say such things? No hard feelings, we’re still friends, i just wanted to share that i dont support racism and there is nothing wrong with having friends of different races. See, part of my friends are indians, but we share common spaces, all of us are obsessed over KPOP and Korean dramas so that helped us clicked really well! I feel that it doesnt require much hardwork to break your comfort zone and try different things, you know, who knows, your best friend may be someone you totally didnt expect it to be, when you need help, the one who comes may not even be one you were even close to? I remember many people saying that ohh malays have loads of gangsters and a lot of negative things blablabla NO. Nonono. Most of my malay friends are super friendly and fun to be with! Really. Idk why people have such misconceptions. Also, i dont get why people will go around saying ‘haha your friends are indians. Haha your friends are malays, haha your friends are chinese’ errrr? So what if they consist of people from different race, did you know that when you make friends from other races/countries, you know more bout their culture? It helps broaden your horizon by knowing more of these info? So next time you see your friends with people of different races dont laugh at them, laugh at yourself for being shallow. And NO. Not all indians smell. Wtf. mY FRIENDS DONT. In fact, most of them smell like everyone of us. Why are people bothered by smell? If the smell bothers you, move away, you mean people in your own race dont smell? Its not based on race hello, its based on your genes and personal hygene. You’ll be really an ass if you comment on people’s scent and culture. Seriously.
Anyway, i just had to air this out cause i really hate. HATE racist remarks. In school, online, outside or even within family members. Im not pissed or anything or have any hatred towards that friend, no dont have, just felt the need to say this(:
oh and i prolly drift of somewhere in the middle, totally different from what i started with, but its cause when i talk bout something, more ideas and opinions come in so bear with me.
ANNYONG (:
